Yes, I know how to take care of a lawn. I mow it about every 5 days. I have a sprinkler system and watered as needed I was the biggest fan of TruGreen prior to last year. The problem 2010 was what they did to the yard and then not follow up with me. After no less than 10 contacts with the company, someone came out. They basically blamed it on me and drought. Didnt water etc. So.... I showed him the other yards around me, which were fine and no irrigation. They should own the issue.

jinreeso. I had been paying for the service all year. They did put down the preemergent, etc. The problem arose when they did not come back in the early summer to control the crabgrass. I requested they come look at it. They did not respond. When they finally showed up, they took excessive action resulting in the killing of the fescue. They only know the truth. The result speaks for itself. I simply tried to show what can happen to a yard. You decide for yourself. Not me anymore.

I wonder why they were not able to use it on my yard. I think they tried using something a lttile too strong and ended up killing the fescue. They blamed the dead fescue on drought. As I had said, I have an irrigation system and I can handle watering during dry periods. None of the neighbors have an irrigation system and their fescue seemed to survive. All I had asked them was to take a little responsibilty. You would think a large company like them would man up, but they never did.

They came out and have sprayed for weeds. That took about two weeks of begging to get them to come out. They said the dead fescue was due to the drought. I showed them neighboring yards that did not have dead fescue. I have a sprinkler system and the neighboring yards did not. Very dissapointed in the service. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I would like to get my money back for this years services since TruGreen garuantees their service. TruGreen says they will only refund one service.

Listen to Jinreeso. Everything he/she said is 100% true, well except for the Trupower 3 killing crabgrass. But Quincept smokes it. I've been in the business 5+ years and I know when someone thinks they know what they are talking about and when someone does know really know.

Tru green is a great service. i work for them. we have a special for a free fall fertilzer application if you pay for aeration. great if you have a small yard. wont cost you as much.

to get rid of crab grass you need to add in a sticking agent to make sure it attaches to the grass... I've seen it start to die in as little as 3 days. you just need someone who knows what they are doing out there

Yea they told me just water your lawn it will come back up and each week more and more of my grass dies!

TRUGREEN SUCKS SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!! that having been said...it is a 3 part deal to make a good lawn....The lawn service you have, Your cultural practices and Mother Nature. Trugreen will offer the best price...however they could care less about the best service...just saying
