At the City Council Meeting in Lewisville, Texas on 10-06-2008. Councilman Lathan Watts defends his stance on the importance of English being the Official Language of Lewisville and this Country. He was the only one on the Council that supports making English the Official Language of Lewisville. This was after visitors spoke For and Against this proposed resolution. After this, the other Council members (the ones that voted for a Day Labor Site) would not second Watts' motion to vote Yes or No on this issue. They made a motion and seconded to not consider it at all. In Essence, they voted against declaring English as the official language of Lewisville. Thank You Lathan Watts for sticking up for what is right! (note: Some portions of silence were removed to keep this a single video). Please see http://www.gorena.org/lv-translating.htm for more information on this event.
