Certainly Matt 3:12 the metaphore, describes the angles are With him, confirmed in chpt 13 and 24 also to describe the one event. No doubt the Psalmists described in Ps 50:1-3 68:1-3 at the appearence of Yeshua this planet is done! 2 Peter 3:10 shows it too. So besides this, Act 1:11 shows that it never was nor will be a secret. Again Matt 24 says as lightning, loudly too. Again Matt 24 says After the great ribulation will he appear so nobody goes anywhere untill then, period!

@montanasosa21 In Rev 19 the wicked gather to fight against Jesus & are destroyed as he returns to begin his 1000 year reign in Jerusalem, on the earth. The saints will reign with Jesus on the earth (not heaven) for 1000 years. Satan is locked in a bottomless pit during the 1000 years. A remnant of the wicked will survive the glorious return of Christ & will father the generations whom the saints will rule over. See Rev chapters 19-20, Zech ch 14.
God bless!

@montanasosa21 The saints are raptured in Rev 14:14-16. Everyone one earth will see them go meet Jesus on the clouds. NO saint will still be on the earth during the 7 plagues, only the wicked. Jesus returns & destroys the wicked at the end of the 7 plagues & he then begins His 1000 year reign on the earth. The saints will be on the earth reigning with Christ during this 1000 year reign.

@montanasosa21 when you said that the unrighteious go to make war against god. Here is what i believe:
1.Jesus Returns
2. Righteous Meet Christ in the air
3. The glory of God strikes the wicked down
4. Satan is left to contimplate his war on God for thousand years
5. Mean while we enjoy 1000 years in heaven etc
6. Christ comes back the final time where everyone recieves there punishment, and the new jeruesalem is finally brought down to earth

@Crossbearer83 i apologize i said that when i thought i heard you say that the saints would be involved in a silent rapture... although the 7 plagues are poured out while the saints are still on the earth because when you continue reading rev you find that the plagues make the unrighteious angry and blame it on the righteious for they are untouched by the plagues and the blame it on them.... other then that you seem to be correct. Blessings. Also i didn't understand what you were saying

Sadly your misktaken on some of your points

in which he shows that this day must be necessarily distant, because a great work is to be done previously to its appearing.
How can every eye see him? Is he going to hover for 24hrs while the world turns underneath him?
The true rapture occurs when we leave these mortal bodies and enter the permanent life. See Mark 9:1 as to the timing of the coming of the kingdom.

@k0smon You are so very carnal!
Rev. 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
