@gibbsboroturtle What about people who post horrible comments about strangers? If you took the time to read the comments rather than just look at pictures then you would not be so ignorant.

@jmolag Ensure there is nothing nearby by the cat can strike during the event and hurt itself. Things like sharp edges or near the top of stairs. Darken the lights (the strobe effect in the video is my rubbish camera failing at auto light balance, it wasn't really happening!). Crucially, when finished the vet said the animal is most likely temporarily blind and very frightened. A familiar voice and touch will calm the poor beastie.

@treefree50 Hello, My cat had an overactive Thyroid which there are 3 treatments for; Surgery to reduce the size, radiation to reduce the function, pills to keep it in check. I opted for a pill a day wrapped in tuna, the sensible choice to me. I don't think it was related to seizures, my vet indicated it was common in older cats.

@Silvawolf100 The way I understand it is there is nothing you can do to stop the event. Ensure there is nothing nearby the cat can strike during the event or fall off and hurt itself. Darken the lights (the strobe effect in the video is my rubbish camera failing at auto light balance, it wasn't really happening!). Crucially, when finished the vet said the animal is most likely temporarily blind and very frightened. A familiar voice and touch will calm the poor beastie.
