The UL50 is one of the models that Asus will be supporting this in. However, it needs to be built that way originally at the factory. You can't just enable it unless the machine was configured with it.

Show the part of the test where you try to play the game and the BS optimus screws it up and you're limited to playing it with the intel integrated card. That's the real test right there!

check the nvidia forums.. optimus is still crappy... not the hardware, but the drivers... I have one and my friends as well.... it's very crappy when playing some games and when playing flash videos in full screen... 'hope nvidia fix's this...

I'm asking various people a question about the UL50 and have yet to hear back.

What I'm wondering is, what can't that laptop do? It has a very slow processor. I'm wondering what it's breaking point is, as far as not being able to handle things.

Can you run ten applications at once without any dip in performance?

I am not a gamer, besides running emulators of older systems, like N64. Is this a wise choice of laptop for me?

when can we see the Asus UL50-vf for sale? All I see right now are the vt's without optimus.

I just ordered a UL50, but without the NVIDIA Optimus. Too bad.
