baclofen is effective for alcoholism-if taken right. Too many ppl do not take it correctly and end up with bad side effects and/or withdrawals.

Everybody listen to this lady! Alcoholism can be effectively treated nowadays with medications.
I can talk about Naltrexone, which I've been taking by the Sinclair Method. This medicine is simply saving my life! When I started taking it I used to keep drinking for over 24 hours and now, after about two months using the medicine, I stop drinking after three or four cans of beer. It's a dream that came true!
Good luck for all of us who have suffered so much from addiction!

You GO Girl! Baclofen is a wonder drug. It saved my life. It cost next to nothing and has no major side effects. It truly could change our society and works for other addictions as well. Addiction kills...baclofen is acure and we never hear anything about it. Tragic.
