Things to see and do in October

Autumn is in full swing here in Butler County. With cold weather just around the corner, get out now and enjoy the crisp, cool air and gorgeous landscapes. Butler County has many ways to savor fall foliage with driving tours and even pontoon cruises. Several area farms have pumpkin festivals allowing you out into the fields to pick your own pumpkin straight from the patch. If you're into the creepy side of Halloween, get spooked at a haunted corn maze, a haunted hayride or the Northern Nightmares Festival. There are still some fall festivals left as well.
