  • Thank you!!!

  • Yuck horrible scrunched toes, the extension should come from the ankle and the arch of the foot not the toes.

  • @staceybrowm Stacey, I think if you actually do these excercise you will feel the the arch comes from ankle extension and arch of the foot. The toes are just the accent! I have never seen my athletes ankle extension improve so much. I have several girls right now who do not have natural toe point which is so challenging and this has really helped! I hope you try it and see a difference!

  • i will mary you.

  • I would like to have flexible feet but I don't :(

My friend has flexible feet, he is a boy like me, I'm jealous of him...haha, we're 18 year-old !

What can I do to get flexible toes? I love it...

  • cute feet

  • It look like it hurts

  • This is for educational purposes only

  • @usamlt Now, that's good exercise for the feet right there and it strengthens the ankles and, like I said, is fist-like!

  • This is done for several minutes every day at every rhythmic gymnastics school in the world. Rhythmic gymnasts have the best pointed feet of any dancer or athlete-- at least as good as ballet dancers. The key is to keep the arches pushed over/forward while not sickle-ing, like she says, while the entire tops of the toes are flat on the floor. Very nice video.

  • The first part of the drill stretches the top of the foot from the tight big toe extensor muscle. By "scrunching" the toes, the athlete is developing a greater range of motion from which to point from. Many athletes who do not have this range of motion end up "curling" instead of pointing their feet. Nice exercise sets in my opinion.
