Eliminate your debt. Take your $ off the table. Stop buying stuff that you don't need. Live well on very little. Grow your own food. Participate in alternative and/or outlawed food economies for what you don't produce yourself. Barter, or use cash. Support people who do good work Finally, draw a line in the sand. Don't tell anyone where that line is, or what the consequences will be if it's crossed. Don't wave a sign about it. Let the fascists figure it out the hard way.

The only solution is to remove the banking industry from power and Aye there's the rub.

I saw a cartoon once that immediately came to mind upon you issuing the statement "I still think we have one of the most freest countries in the world!". It was of a man situated on the ground doggy style with his head LITERALLY buried in the ground with the caption "I just don't see it". Freest countries in the world? Really?
I guess everything IS all relativistic.

by the way when I posted a similar( see below) comment on facebook the day the reform was passed...it was deleted every time I put it back...that was before Goldman made a public investment in facebook....I think the oligarchy runs much deeper then you think

the Goldman/Obama financial reform scam is the most obvious example. Goldman played the bad guy, got slapped on the wrist, which in turn made their stock jump to the tune of a 3 billion dollar gain for the DAY and now the SEC is IMMUNE from the Freedom of Information Act. The SEC is the most corrupt entity, besides Goldman, on Wall St. I know because I worked for an Auditing agency that did reporting for 99% of all trading firms. All big firm Compliance officers are EX SEC attorneys.

AMERICAN THE IDIOTS.
Spitzer was about to make public a hugh scandal related to the economic situation we are living in. HE was / is a hero, he should be our next president
Lorax, in doing my own research on this topic I was told it was standard procedure for politician's bank accounts to monitored, as a protection against them being blackmailed. Not saying your wrong, just saying it might change the level of perceived targeting.

@galendracos The Justice Dept does not normally (probably never before) investigate a politician for hiring a prostitute. In fact, as I recall in DC on at least 2 occasions, a Madame threatened to name the Congressmen who used her service if she was prosecuted - instead of investigating the Congressmen, the Madame was charged with extortion in order to silence her. Secondly, it was illegal for the DOJ to leak (give) Spitzer's case details to the press.
