SLASH!! buckethead is really good too and plays faster but Slash plays with emotion which is greater than shredding away at like super fast speed that makes the song pointless and have no meaning...

i agree. bucketheads faster but slashs solos have more emotion in them and more of a feeling too them. rather than just shreding

in my opinion th guy with the buchet on the head is far superior tecnicly , but slash, he might not be the greatest tecnician, but has a great tone and souns unique, every note he plays is pefect and slow, and he is a great composer,
i prefer creativity that ability
but as long eddie van halen lives, he'll still be the greatest guitar player alive..

Buckethead solos has more emotion than Slash's solos,check out :Soothsayer by Buckethead,one of the most beautiful songs ever,its actually more like Art than music
