Here is my entry for Sophiechan90's contest where you have to draw an emotion! I'm 19 years old and I chose to use Copics as my traditional media. Enjoy!
Also, check out my second channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/MangaLessons
I do a bunch more tutorials on that channel and it's updated more often than my zkittyz channel.

  • can i just say that u are the best artist i have ever seen! ( well other than mark crilley but thtas a given) you inspire me so much ..... i was horrible at anime and drawing period but then i started watching u and i got so much beter .... im only 11 but i hope i can get as good as you 1 day ------- thank you so much

  • @Webkinzlover249 Having expensive materials won't magically make you draw any better. You don't need "special pencils" to draw well. I use pencils I bought on clearance at Zellers lol. Drawing is all about practice to improve your skills. Copics don't magically make you draw better either. Yes, they can look nice, but pencil crayons can look AMAZING if you practise. It's not about what materials you have -- it's how you use them.

    :P

  • @zkittyz Okay, thank you! I love your work and look forward to checking out more of your vids! =^.^=

  • @mrspaclady They are $5 online at the cheapest websites like oozak (you need to make an account or else you pay a higher price.) If you buy in person at an art store, you'll be paying $7 a marker.

  • Hey I love your videos you are an amazing artist!! You and Mark Crilley inspire me and with the help of you videos I hope to get better at drawing anime/manga!! I do have a question, how much are Copic markers, I would love to get them for my birthday but if they are too much......and where is the best place to buy them? Thanks, bye!! =^.^=
