For one of my Maker Faire projects I created a multi-touch table. This was very easy to do primarily because the multi-touch community - the NUIGroup - provide some free to use software for determining and tracking multiple touch points. Additionally, I was also able to use another application from an NUIGroup member written in XNA - Microsoft's games development framework.
In this video I take a less than ten minute walk through of the application to share some of how it works.

  • You need to use FTIR if you want a harder surface. This was just 3mm acylic. For FTIR you'd use 10mm which is very strong.
