Not necessarily. A lot of places still have combined sewers, including most of the older parts of Morgantown. So, when there is a heavy rain not everything that goes to the waste water treatment plant can be treated and goes into the Mon river. But it all works out in the end since the Mon flows north to Pittsburgh, and the Pitt fans have to get their food from somewhere.

@2wvu2 They have that blue stuff in them. I thought this too, until I realized about that. Also, rainwater collection is separate from sewers.
