. I bought an HD camcorder over a year ago .Soon after, I had Iearned my old computer was not strong enough to edit HD. Discovered along the research dream that It would be pretty nice to make an HD video like the one which so greatly influenced my direction in gathering this computer. (youtube, Custom Computers: Build 2 , HD video edting and gaming computer of 2009 by zoop425)
I must say I am surprised that I put it together myself. Its not just a matter of directions. They leave a few things out of the instructions to assemble. Like alot of sockets I left unplugged. I had a heck of a moment plugging the main power into the motherboard. Because of that was then able to reconize a short adapter that came with the accesories. Smaller, thus probably better suited for an easier incertment (.Some of these spots are too tight to get to when motherboard is in the chasis.
Here I am Attatching, deattaching, and reattaching the case to motherboard several times.
I noticed I could'nt of learned any other way. I got to know where things go before I plan. I did not see in the instructions to install the motherboard brass spacer screws. No wonder my outputs wer'nt flush with the houseing. I was wondering how to set that bottom of the cpu cooler in there! Some final arrangements of wiring routes for good air flow and looks. I was not through before one more little laugh. I hit power for the hopes that it had been my first successful computer build, and soon I could relax. I pushed the power on button and nothing?!
Oh I just forgot to turn the power supply switch on in the back first. Ha Hah! " Hope it works", and man' when I saw those lights go on I felt like a child hooking up the wires for a nintento for the first time, anyone can do it. I thank the man who made that video and the people who commented on his build. The cost of this build was just under $1,730.00 tax and shipping included.
I'm deeply considering building my own pc but i have little to 0 experience with actually making them, is it a hugely difficult project?

@WEStICE013 Its a lot easier than I had thoght it would be. Its like hooking up the nintendo to the tv for the first time . You can do it. the motherboard instuctions will guide you the most. You can do what I did. Find a build on youtube you like. Check it out. If the comments and parts are all good. Then you might wanna start buying those parts. I had a blast doing it. Its so much easier than it looks let me know what you end up doing.

why intel for editing
xFoKe 1 year ago
@xFoKe I chose intel over amd for editing because of the hyper threading. Also I got a j-spec chip that i can clock to 4.5ghz If I ever want to invest in liquid cooling or an i6. Mainly I saw a video here on youtube of a very similar build for editing. The guy who made the video had good comments and seemed to know what he was doing. I checked out the comparison parts and went for it. I know amd is pretty close in performance , runs cooler stock, and the price is lower.
