huh. just been reading the comments and i cant understand some people. I have been Irish dancing for almost 16 years now and there are 100's of different sytles and ways of performing. The fact that they wear glitzy outfits does not make any difference to the fact that what they are doing is blooming hard! they have to work for hours to dance like that, and saying its rubbish just means you are completely closed-minded.

Too big, too glitzy, to modern, too mechanical, and what looked to me to be too bitchy to even compare to the real Riverdance at the Pointe Theatre in Dublin (1995).

Its good to be Irish! This is a great routine. Its rhythmic, athletic, dramatic. It shows joy,passion, and skill. Very impressive! I watch it 2 or 3 times when Im online.

@Brittney123ish dearest brittney, please accept my deepest apologies, i meant no personal disrespect, i admit i lashed out at what i thought was a dispaportionate response to young ladies dancing to something that they obviously enjoy.also you may be right that i've not seen an ORIGINAL river dance i don't know.but 2 of my girls have participated in this type of dance for awhile and i have been offended when others said similar things about them and their friends.
