Just a quick video to demonstrate Ken Burns effects used on video footage for zooming and panning etc using iMovie (a Mac application). The picture-in-picture was also done on iMovie and shows the original footage. I may do a tutorial on how to do this in the near future.

  • You're a trip Alan. This is the kind of stuff I do, but don't share! lol. I do find the source clip disturbing.

  • Did you know that one of those guys was in the Three Amigos - apparently?

  • By the way, not wanting to be outdone, I was having a clearout and found 1/400th scale RMS Titanic kit that I bought in the 1990s. I only got round to laying the first deck - must get started on it again after a 12 year break. Another diverse video idea! Now where is that bottle of toluene?

  • Oh stop it. So that was Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short I believe. You mean not a starring role right?

HA! I have forced you to build that model! lol. Seriously, you must meet Robert (BasicModelling), he would love that. He lives in England somewhere too. I look forward to a Titanic update.
