4eva2cool is right it aint pedophilia because she was in love with him. and it wasn't till the end he opened up his heart to her. and he didn't touch or rape her against her will or any of that shit either. Truth be told it was really true love. poor leon had felt alone his whole life same with matilda but they both were shining new lights for each other.

@Salongsberusad How can you possibly compare the Michael Jackson case with this? And there is no connection to the Lolita theme here either! Watch the movie. She's a kid who's just lost her entire family to a bunch of gangsters, and naturally she seeks refuge and imagines she's in love with the only guy who can save her. He on the other hand is impervious to her romantic notions... Its a very innocent theme of infatuation. Duhhh!

Leon is an utterly amazing film and so is Blade Runner but as soon as I heard that Vangelis piece kick in I was in fits of laughter! Very funny :)

Love this scene, you can see the nervousness in her face. And when she hands him the glass of milk, her hands are shaking ever so slightly. A brilliant performance in my opinion. The entire movie rocks from beginning to end. It's hard to take my eyes off of it once the movie begins. And the ending has me crying my eyes out. I love you, Mathilda.
