New subscriber, and your videos are great. Any tips on when you should harvest? I have two large bines going now, but am new to growing my own hops. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

I'm jelous, we've had a cool summer in San Diego. Mostly in the high 60's and 70's, or hot days are late August and September. No cones on my Perle plant but there are buds, it is a first year plant so I didn't expect much.

I'm just assuming and hoping that there will be a video on drying, packaging, and storage of these little beauties?!

Beautiful hops. Thanks. Yeah, it's over 100F here too, I hear ya on not wanting to brew. I've retreated indoors to do other types of brew experiments for now.

cool nice
It was inspiring to see the hops growing in pots doing so well. I live in a condo and the balcony has a 15ft peak i was thinking of running some hop plants up to next spring. Do you do anything special for plant care with the pots (fertilizer, watering schedule, etc.)? Thanks for all of the great brewing videos!

Full disclosure... the plants that appear to be in pots and doing so well have actually found drain holes in the bottom and grew down into the earth. Seriously, they are insane weeds. The ones right next to them, in similar pots, not so good.
