http://www.texasheadaches.com Dorothy H. had severe headaches since she was in her 20's, and they had become progressively more frequent over the years. They started on either side of her head with severe, sharp pain affecting her temple or forehead. This pain would last for 3-5 seconds, followed by a dull throbbing pain that involved her whole head in a cap-like distribution. Her worst headaches were accompanied by extreme sound sensitivity and occasional light sensitivity. She was having headaches on a daily basis (average 3/10, high 6/10). She was having 3 of her worst headaches a week when first seen at the Headache Institute of Texas, and stated that her headaches were completely disrupting her home life. She awakened 6 days a week with a dull throbbing pain in her forehead. In addition to daily headaches, she described daily neck pain.
