"In Japan, this episode was titled "Beast Wars Metals: Convoy Great Transformation" (ビーストウォーズメタルス コンボイ大変身!) and released theatrically on July 31, 1999, as part of a triple feature of animated films based on Takara properties. The other two short movies included were "Super Doll Licca-chan" and "Microman". Its placement in the Beast Wars Metals series was taken by a newly crafted clip show, "Remix: I Lost the Banana!". Due to the relatively late theatrical release, the episode was not included on Pioneer's Japanese DVD box set of Beast Wars Metals."
