@jammdawg how do you figure they dont send active duty? i got out of bct and ait at the very end of oct 2010 and i was in afghanistan with 10th mtn new years eve 2010, its luck of the draw and some of us just get fucked worse than others

Im a combat medic in the US Army whos been back from afghanistan for 3 months and its taken an arrest and constant hard drug abuse for me to finally get the attention of the army and get the help i need. Its despicable how the govt sends kids not even old enough to drink to go do their dirty work and then tosses us aside like trash when weve served their purpose.

@mzeeriebella Yes it is. I plan on enlisting soon myself. It is not because of propaganda though. It is for a few reasons. It is for my own benefit and so much more. It is to stand with my brothers and sisters in bullshit. If anything, this is why one should enlist. Not because of a "war on terror," but to stand with those already there.
