16' Koffler Special

River Runners and bass fisherman both had their say in the design of the Koffler Special aluminum sled boat. Like other Koffler boat models, the Koffler Special has many uses.

With the 6 degree-V bottom this model is ideal for river running or fishing and is suited to handle even shallow river waters. It can also be used in the bays, lakes and for water skiing. The Koffler Special is available with outboard or inboard power, and in open tiller, center console, or windshiels models.

For maximum strength and durability, the Koffler Special is welded of 5086-H32 and 5052-H32, the finest marine grade aluminum alloys obtainable.

As with all Koffler jet sleds, there are seven stringers running the full length of the bottom for maximum bottom strength. The 3/16" bottom is joined to the .100" or .125" sides by a custom designed extrusion that is double welded for the greatest strength possible. The special extruded handrail gives extra strength and a cleaner finished appearance. For best possible quality and performance, the Koffler Special is continually being tested and improved.
