the sign itself has no use!

it's just a marker that you've already mastered that crop.

but mastery of a crop has its benefit...

try planting a crop that you've already mastered and you'll get extra experience points when you harvest...

I must know, I already have 18 crop masteries :)

Wasting cash on Farm Ville is not worth it. Just adhere to the brand new guide at freshfarmvilleguideXcom (replace X with . ) and you will definitely LVL quickly, and grab superior items compared with all the others.

You plant the vegatble you've mastered again, and then when you harvest your crops you get extra Xp
