This is an excerpt from a clinic I gave entitled "The Percussion Prism" in which I performed selections of concert and rudimental snare drum, solo marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, timpani, multi-percussion, and, of course, drum set.

The play-along track is taken from Tommy Igoe's incredible "Groove Essentials" disc. (My apologies for the balance of the drum/track levels!)

  • what cowbell is that? i know its a lp salsa but what model? is it the ES-11 claro cowbell or the ES-8 bongo cowbell? do you know?
