Test Footage from Sony HVR-V1U

The first test footage that I can find on youtube. I wanted to put this out there for people in the market for the camera because I would have found it some what interesting to look at. I forgrot my tripod and shot this on the day after I bought the camera to help me learn all the features of the camera. As you would expect the quality and detail of the film is distorted due to the file compression. I did not use filters nor used any color correction. I simply threw some clips together quickly in iMovie.

was this shot 24p? i wished you showed some DOF.

Yeah this was shot in 24p. You can see some DOF in the shot with the little bird standing on the bush. It's difficult to tell with the low res down convert that I needed to do to get it on this site and really it's hard to make out alot of the extreme detail that this camera picked up.

my hvr-v1u, the shots are super super dark.

i cant even film inside because its so dark.

what can i do? the nd filter is off!
