How easy to use is this thing? Is it worth the money 4 someone who just wants to screw around with techno beats or do you need to actually know what you are doing as far as notes and all that crap ?

It is very easy to use aqnd definitely worth the money. You don't have to know musical theory, but knowing some scales helps. The Kaossilator allows you to pre-select scales which makes hitting the wrong notes more or less impossible.

@CamaRO9923 I have one, and yes it's worth the money, I may spend 15 min to 4 hours a day messing with it. It's just the most fun little music box. It will take a very long time to get bored with it.
