Bug screen worked AWESOME! I only could rig it up when I was camping, and I spent a lot of time "boondocking" as they call it, or stealth living in the van in Walmart parking lots and the like (I was on a VERY low budget and gone for a very long time!) so those days I had to crack the windows. Thankfully not too many bugs in the cities. :) But the velcro held up well.
