I remember seeing Arlo perform this song on PBS a long time ago and he told the story of how once he was asked what language he sang in, and his response was "I'm singin' in American!" Does anyone have access to that footage or is it here and I just haven't found it yet?
Hey Arlo, ... Don't you remember what Pete said? "Arlo", he said "folk songs are serious". And you said "Right"! No Crows in my garden, but no Zuchinni either. Gotta figure!
Thanks, jguth3! About 23 years ago (October, 1985), I got to hear Arlo and Pete Seeger team up to perform this song in Iowa City. Beautiful little song; Arlo performs with grace and humor. All proceeds from their concert went to Central America Medical Aid. God bless this garden we call earth.

A great moment, though, thanks for sharing it.
Thanks Jackie
