I agree that Rivers should do a solo career if only for the terrible money-making beast that Weezer has become. Once Rivers got all in to himself, they lost their spark. Make Believe was almost an entire disappointment, and I didn't even bother buying Red. Sorry guys, Blue and Pinkerton are probably my two favorite albums in my catalogue, but the rest of Weezer's decent tracks could fit on an EP.

My problem isn't so much people hating on Weezer these days, it's people acting like Weezer raped them or something.

Rivers isn't George Lucas guys. He didn't go back and tamper with Blue and Pinkerton. Debate all you like, but don't act like they're offending you. Those two albums will always be there.

On that note, I think the band had a solid four streak of great albums from Blue to Mala.

If you don't like them, there are tons of bands that sound just like them. Look, people, look.
