  • Keyboard? lol. It's a Mandolin, played pretty niftily here by Mr Bragg.

Good version actually, but lets face it, nothing could ever beat the damned perfect original.

  • :) ..!

  • I'm undecided over Florance generally but she does this with Billy ace, its just made my day.

  • :) enjoy

  • @BlondiEmilio stop being an absolute retard, does it matter, everyone knows what it means because the name is so unique, its not like you're going to confuse this with any other band.. don't bring your negativity around here..

  • @cawright1 I think what actually sounds like a keyboard is the harp, what billy plays (brilliantly as per usual) doesn't really sound like them. You can see it in the video too. :)

  • two of my favourite artists together, singing one of my favourite songs. Brings a tear to my eye as well, so beautifully done.

  • i love their voices, but this is nothing compared to the original

  • This is okay I guess, but it doesn't have a tenth of the emotion the Pogues/Kirsty MacColl put into the original. I do give them credit for not caving and going with the American-friendly lyrics.

  • Brett Domino? :D

  • @GrimeGalore The band is called Florence + the Machine. Do you see any The Machines there? That paricular name comes from the keyborardist of the band, Isabella ''Machine'' Summers, okay? So, yes, he got it wrong, he should have written (of Florence + the Machine).

  • @cawright1 NO

    It's a harp.

    Played by Tom Monger (lunamoth).

    Okay?

It's not a mandolin or a banjo or anything else. Argh.

  • Nope - this doesn't really work

  • This is a butchering of the original. But I'm glad new bands are giving respect to to the classics.

It's Just too blank. No use the love of the lyrics
