On Thursday 25th of March the Power2010 Midlands team spent the day campaigning in Shrewsbury where we spoke to voters and to the Labour and Lib Dem parliamentary candidates about the urgent need for democratic reform.
We went there because hundreds of people had highlighted the anti-reform record of Daniel Kawczynski MP. The campaign has dropped 15,000 'WANTED' posters in the constituency to remind constituents that their current MP has not served their interests, but his.
Here, Midlands Regional Organiser Ciarán talks to Labour candidate for Shrewsbury, Jon Tandy, about why he signed the Power Pledge to clean up politics.

well done to Power2010 for their campaign to highlight and reform parliament and to see that the local Labour and Lib Dem candidates are in full support of this reform and transparency.

Power2010 seems a very left wing campaign group.
"Proportional representation" would be a disaster for this country and we would always end up with coalition government which is deeply flawed.
I want to know who wins an election the day after i vote. I do not want to wait weeks for all the parties to do dirty behind closed doors deals with each other.
PR attacks the majority and gives too much power to the minority.
