Nervous Patterns - Robots On The Loose

Nervous Patterns was a short lived project by the extraordinarily talented Jay Reatard and Alicja Trout. In their other projects, such as Lost Sounds, themes revolve around an apocalyptic future, and importantly, rebelling and fighting against the evils that be in that chaos. Nervous Patterns, on the other hand, still revolves around themes of an apocalyptic future, but apathetically accept the horrors with which they are dealt.

These key differences between similarly themed concepts paint an entirely different listening experiences for dedicated fans. Such vision could only be created by artists who are entirely in tune with the greater landscape of their portrait.

The video mash-up is taken from the 1921 film L'Uomo Meccanico.

Terror Visions was a little bit of a disappointment. The early tracks Master Wait, Rotten Face, and World of Shit were all great, but when I got the picture disc LP, none of the other songs lived up to those tracks.

@irocz0r I loved terror visions. Terror visions were just songs that never made it to the lost sounds or nervous patterns or destruction unit. Endless Tunnel was in the lost sounds demo's Vol. 2 Nervous Patterns has some of my favorite songs. The whole album Is just amazing. Plus there single they put out. Jay And Alicja have been the biggest inspiration of my life. But Terror Visions Is what inspired Jay togo solo. That album was just a milestone. It was just jay put all his flaws in that album
