Apologize - HD - Committed Arrangement - Acappella - Multitrack

As most of you know, I am a big Take 6 fan. When I first heard the acappella group Committed on The Sing-Off, they immediately reminded me of a cross between Take 6 and Boyz to Men. In my opinion, there isn't anyone close to Committed in this competition.

When they performed their arrangement of One Republics, Apologize, on Wednesday night, I knew I wanted to try it. It is such an amazing and moving arrangement and Committed nailed it! So I spent Friday evening listening and picking out the parts and started recording. I always cringe when I try to do a multitrack that features a solo. I will be the first to admit that I do not have a solo voice, not to mention my runs are horrendous. My strength is backup harmony. Anyways, enough of the apologies (no pun intended).

It's good to see you back in the game Vance (I also enjoyed hearing you and the others in your Christmas collab). This song seems like a tough piece to tackle, with rather extreme vocals (super low bass, high melody, etc.), it must really wear one's voice out to sing this on one's own! I sure could never pull it off. It's good to hear you trying out various styles too.
