What's that thing he's popping, not the slide whistle, but the other thing?

This has got to be one of the most magnificent videos in the history of youtube.

Mulberry Bush, how German :D
-
Love it :D
And I'm German :D

Is that final phrase (after the ape pulls up the socks and the funny instrument makes the comic sounds) properly to be translated:
"the weasel rounds to spring".
The english for this being from "to round" in the sense of "to turn about", as in "turnabout is fair play"?
That is, after all, the sense or lesson of the rhyme.

I'm German and I understand just a few words, it's absolute nonsense... and really funny XD

Please folks! Analyzing the accuracy of the German is like explaining a joke. Try to just sit back and enjoy the absurdity of a grown man in a business suit singing a ridiculous children's song in nonsense German with a a very silly slide whistle.
