Debra started going through menopause and had a hysterectomy. Her daughters got together and gave her womb a goodbye celebration.

Thank you for posting this video. I am due in surgery tomorrow at 5:45 am, and very nervous over it. I too experienced the never knowing if I would leave a wet spot, and ended up just plain staying home instead of attending family events and graduations. I am looking forward to healing, and moving on with my life.

After my uterus and ovaries were removed it caused me many health problems including complete loss of sexual feeling. There's a female anatomy video you can watch by going to the HERS Foundation on the web that gives women a lot of information.

You don't need a hysterectomy for fibroids or ovarian cysts unless you have the wrong doctor.
