@jjaecks71 hahah... replying to myself-- listening to "Aerial"... I need to re-discover HOW to listen to music. Listening to music used to be an activity all unto itself. Now, it's "put something in while you do something else." Listening to music needs to become the primary activity again

@Klute1977 Florence Welch is no comparison to Bush ... Why ? Because she has no originality and dresses like Bush , just watch the "red dress " version of Wuthering Heights Also.She plagiarizes her music . As for Welches singing ,She Cant reach a 4th octave like Bush, just shouts and doesn't even write her own compositions . Kate is the real deal. Hugely influential and it shows with today's most "supposedly "Alternative Artists " However, in my view they fail .

I was 10 when this song was released I watched it on J2 when I was 12 2 years after it's release ( A music channel that's now called 63 our music as of 2008 or 2009)

Kate is just a great musician. Who else could get away with singing about Pi and washing and still have her fans wanting more let alone have their fans wait years between albums and still get them to go out and buy a new album?

Kate Bush sounds good in all her songs and has the voice to carry it unlike the manufactured crap that's around today.

@Maguirearch I think Flo Welch is good but not a patch on Kate but interestingly they both from area on the outskirts of London or just about Flo is from Bromley and Kate from bexleyheath!

I would say Florence welch is perhaps similar in more ways stylistically and culturally to Kate...but could she play teh piano as well.......

There is a comparison very much so.....both are decent on Keyed Instruments piano etc

Both (were in kates instance) great at dancing and singing simultaneously.....Both Use or Used Fashion...albiet in completely different ways.....both Write own tunes.....and yes comparisons can be made.....take Beyonce, Grace Slick, Madonna, PJ Harvey, Cathy Dennis, Roisin Murphy, Florence Welch

@Maguirearch I dont feel Kate's/Gaga's background effects my statement that Kate is more beautiful/talented and interesting than Gaga. Yes it is all down to circumstances but then why aren't we comparing anyone else. Maybe if adele or maddonna or any other artist was to live kates life they may have turned out similar but its not the point. The point is people are comparing the two and I don't see why. There is no comparrison. x
