I provide these lessons and tabs for free and i don't want any money for it. But if you like these lessons and you are learning from it I would greatly apreciate a small donation for one of the organizations I support. You can find a list of tabs and mp3's I have available together with a list of several organizations on my You tube page : http://www.youtube.com/user/Heronymusic

Hi Jeroen, Many thanks for putting up this instructional video. I have been playing for over forty years. I have mostly been a strummer to accompany my singing. I started taking flatpicking lessons about 6 weeks ago and am really enjoying and learning lot. I am, however, also interested in learning fingerstyle. I started tonight and spent about an hour on this first lesson. Its going great and faster than I would have imagined. Hope I dont mess myself up by doing both, but , Im gonna try

Cheers Jeroen

Jeroen, I have a question: why use the middle finger instead of the ring finger for the 6th string?
joseplluis7 2 years ago
Hi , it's possible to play it with your ring finger But it is more common in this style to play it with the middle finger. In classical style it's used more often to play with the ring finger. Cheers Jeroen
