Training Camp: MaSSaCre (27 May 2008)

Underground Hip Hop in the coolest neighborhood in NYC: The East Village!

Here we have "MaSSaKrE" competing for a $1,000 Grand Prize at the Training Camp Showcase, which is held every month at the Pyramid club in the East Village. (The Pyramid is located on Avenue A between 6th and 7th streets in Manhattan.) It's been going 6 years strong. Underground Artists can get on for $100 and compete for $1,000. The event is judged by reputable industry personnel. It's organized by one Mental Supreme.

MaSSaKre didn't win but, truth be told, there were several pretty good acts on the card that night. I still thought he put on a decent performance and that he furthermore has potential if he "stays on his grizzle". Check it out!
