Haunted? Xbox 360 Strange Noises

I have no clue as to what it is which is why i posted this to see what other people experience and think.

My friend has an xbox 360 that when turned in without a disc in it and turn the volume up you hear various strange sounds coming out. I witnessed it a few times and recorded a few samples here. The first time i heard it there was a repetitive loop about 1 or 2 minutes long. . . But each time you turn it on it changes. she was told it could be spirits using electronics to communicate messages with.

I asked my friend in california if he had an xbox and he did and he heard similar things and he said
"Sounds almost like a cross between Space Mountain sound track and some Alien lifeform trying to say something.... all I can make out is "99...99.9 .. " and " Do you _____ ?? " and "I I I I I I I " And some wierd alien like music comes and goes..."

I imagine that all xbox 360s make these weird noises - deep underwater bubble sounds, forest of birds chirping, an occasional chop chop chop of a helicopter coming in and out, strange alien music like noises and the speak and spell voice. Each time i've heard it on my friend's, the pattern, or lack thereof has been very different.

The question is, is this something that microsoft planted in like some sort of random noise generator pattern? or is it something more? Maybe it's something on the chip, but some 'psychic open minded people' claim, spirits or whatever can use electronics to communicate messages because it's easier for them to manipulate electronic devices.

its a normal xbox o.o lol i thought mine was possessed and always put it out my room at night XD

@Way2CoolXD but i have to say, it's a great 'electric box' for an EVP to use - the 'voice' sounds a little like those old speak 'n spells...

its just an "ester egg" i use to let mine run all night and sleep to the whispers :D

btw i think its ether 30 mins or 1hr that it should start

@thekingace360 her's starts pretty much immediately... what i am questioning is the relatively unknown subject of EVPs using electronics to communicate a personal message to someone in particular - although in this case it's probably nothing as my friend mentioned very similar patterns on his . . .

WOW I found someone else who has this, I have the same recordings from an old xbox hooked up to some powerful speakers. Fantastic stuff!

@followyourbliss101 This isn't a 360 model then that you have, it's a regular Xbox. You should really change the title of this video to be "Strange Xbox noises?" After reviewing this video at Microsoft's official headquarters in Redmond Washington, they said: This is typical noise of the regular Xbox. So your not crazy, it's not haunted, and it's not an Xbox 360.

@NineTailsDemonFox it's my friend's and i'm not really sure - i'm not into video games .... i was going by what i was told. it's definitely an older model.
