Pedro Rodriguez battles for the lead at Sebring until his Ferrari 330P broke. He rejoined the race in Ferrari 250 GTO/64 and finished 7th.

    FYI,Ferari won LeMans in '64.The last time that the factory team would win the great race.

  • Well, the next year a Ferrari 250LM won Le Mans, it was a NART team car, but still a Ferrari...

  • What a historical gem! Thank-you for posting this! Has racing become too refined? There seems to be more of a spirit of raw adventure in the good 'ol days! I love to go to vintage races every summer. Nothing like watching Phil Hill race a '53 Ferrari...and then talk to him after the race.

  • haha wow this is awsome. Tom O'brien is my grandfather. cant tell you how many times ive heard the story about "the time the ferrari cought fire" its dissapointing if the car didnt burn he would have most likely finished top 10 if not top 5
