@Ulven89 That's a good question. We ought to ask the cycling fans that as well!

@jonhas1 He had chances in the other races as well. He was one of the big favourites in everything except the sprints. He was just psychologically beaten up after the 30km. I wonder what would have happened if he just held back and skied with Skjelda, Hoffman, Botvinov, and Piller Cottrer in the 30km instead of trying to follow Muehlegg.

yea but can you imagine the frustration at 30 km in soldier hollow. He lost his chance of olympic gold there, Elofsson because of Muelegg. Slop in mueleggs face, anyone?

the best skating came from thomas alsgaard:) it looked slow but look at the finnish when he beat teichann in 2003
damn what a finnish
Because Mühlegg skied extremely fast, and Elofson had to train more and more and more to keep up with Mühlegg's pace. Even with alot of training, he couldn't do what Mühlegg did; the really high speed over the longer distances. The last knock was the mass-start in Salt Lake when Olofson tired to follow Muhlegg, and totaly ruined his body.
Why does people love those doping scumbags?-.-

Do you have any information that others dont have? If not so, keep your mouth shut.
