@AlexErlangen You should never brush wet hair as this causes hair to stretch and break because water changes its structure temporarily. Comb through with a wide-toothed comb, make sure it is free of sharp edges and seams.
Once your hair is dry, detangle and brush from scalp down to ends once a day. Hope this helps :)
