@shoelace510 I'm not sure if whacking it with a stick really should count as using TOOLS. The fact that it's a screwdriver is irrelevant here, no?
-
Looks like the lock could be opened with a sharp karate hit. Might hurt a bit tho.

@strombringer40k That's true... but even a wire cutter can be well hidden in a long sleeve shirt and exposed for 2 seconds for a quick snip. Just sayin ^^;

@shoelace510 True, but in this case you wouldn't even need a screwdriver, you could just as well use a hardcover book or something similarly inconspicuous. There's a difference between someone sitting in a coffee shop and getting a screwdriver or wire cutter from his backpack, or just a book and dropping it "by accident" on the lock and then bagging the laptop, don't you think?

lolz!

Listen, laptop locks won't work against anyone with TOOLS. Honestly if you had access to tools you would just bring a wire cutter. LOL So any laptop lock is only for people trying to swipe one being unprepared...

bastard!!!

Pathetic! D:

It's like a Ford Pinto, minus the explosions.
"Clearly not up to HP standards" ... you've obviously never bought an HP product
