hey, thanks for this! Can you put a how-to video on how to hook up your laptop to SkyAngel and record showsusing Windows 7- Windows Media Center?

I'm sorry I don't know how. As far as I know you can't hook it to a standard Laptop. If you have video inputs like a TV tuner you could connect the box like you would to a TV. As I don't have Windows 7 I wouldn't know how to use their Media Center. I'm stll a basic XP Home guy. Merry CHristmas!

It is "*PROBABLY** possible to use a video capture device, a IR transmitter (also called an IR blaster), and a Windows computer with Windows Media Center to provide full PVR capability with Sky Angel. Other have done so and I am gong to give it a try when my Sky Angel box arrives.
