Supernatural Season 5 - Poor Sam

I used to not really like Sam but after watching the latest season premier of Supernatural, I really feel bad for him. It must have been really hard for him to get those responses from people that he loves the most.

Sam's always been my favorite since season 1. & I agree his character goes through a heck of a lot all the time. I think it's really sad b/c the devil wants him for his vessel and sam was the geniune good hearted character from the start.

i think you're wrong..Sam would've died for Dean in a second..he even wanted to trade places with him when dean was in hell..Maybe you don't quite get the character's feelings..What if Sam was in hell and Dean alive...do you think dean wouldn't have changed?...

why would anyone want to be gods vessel.... he the one thats letting it be brought on..... he has a sick humor to.... Im sorry but Sam i love you and yes it wasnt you fault all of us would of done stupider shit.... no one could resist demon there built to appeal to us. But im agreeing with this if god was so great and all he wouldnt have left

Sam has always been my favorite. He still is! I think that people think of him as the bad son, but I just can't understand why. He is a lot more caring than any other major character in the show thus far. But I loved the ending of season 5. I loved that he proved EVERYONE wrong! That he WAS strong enough to defeat Lucifer!

Poor Sam it was never really his fault he was manipulated by demons, angels and fate.

@mtate111291 I relate more to Sam. Dean's always been this more solid, predictable character. I LOVE the combination of the two. The show simply wouldn't work with just one or the other. ^-^

@OuchGotHurt I totally agree. Sam went through Hell this year and I don't think he really got the credit. Sammy did a lot of bad stupid things but he's done so much good.

I agree with a bunch of you guys! Sam has also been my favorite,, since the very beginning, and it killed me to see all that he had to go through! All that all of them had to go through! Lots of people make Sam out to be the bad guy, but he was just trying to do what he thought was best. In the end, Bobby and Dean realized this, that despite all the bad in Sam, there was a hell of alot of good in him too.

Wow I thought exectually the same about Sam, I thought he was annoying, but after the 5 season.... I love him. :(
