This 1907 Thomas Flyer was the winner of the 1908 New York-to-Paris automobile race. The car is on permanent exhibit at the National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection) in Reno, Nevada. A re-enactment of the original race, titled World Race 2011, rolled through Reno on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, and the Thomas Flyer led the modern racers on a lap around downtown Reno. The Flyer then returned to its Museum home and the race continued to San Francisco, where the cars will take a slow boat to China and then resume the run to Paris.
