Its so nice to stumble upon your video! ^_^ I'm studying in Lotus Palm School in montreal with master Kam Thye Chow, which has a really smiliar story to yours. When he first arrived in america no one knew about thai yoga massage, so he was really a pioneer for this in the west, just like you - just a different part of occident ;-)
