If you read Gene's book unmasked he really bashes Ace and Peter and basically says they had no talent. They hire them for peanuts for the reunion tour telling them the band is Gene and Paul. Yet look at the success of KISS, it's with Ace and Peter, the band wasn't the same when those two left, they didn't get it back until the re union tour. If those guys didn't contribute anything to the band, why get people to act like them and wear their make up? Why not just pay Ace and Paul the money?

I get angry every time I see Thayer trying to replace an Icon like Ace. Kiss is just trying to keep the money flow.I guess it was all Genes scheming ideas to remake Pete and Ace. It works because gene knows how stupid people really are.

Tommy sucks. He just can't do it. Clearly, Ace blows all the other KISS guitarists out of the water (or other guitarists for that matter).  KISS guitarists rank - 1) Ace 2)Vinnie Vincent 3) Mark St. John 4) Bruce Kulick and 5)Tommy Thayer. They just keep getting worse. Trying to replace Ace is like putting in Tiny Tim for Wilt Chamberlain.

i remember the start of kiss ! beleave me... with out ace frehley... and peter, there would not been a kiss as we see them today. ace was and still is the man. i could care less about money bags gene simmons, and pretty boy paul these days. i will however go to see ace at anytime i can get where he's playing. and about the book , try reading no regerts by ace frehley... he lays it all out...good and bad. like i said, he is the man , and always will be the man.
