how deep do you normally fish? i go out off mornington but have only caught small pinkies, big flatties and squid on my kayak. still the best fishing i've ever had

We use diffrent sized lures to go to the required depth. That spot is around 14 metres deep and we use X Rap 15s with a jaffa sized sinker around 1500 up the trace. If we fish deeper just increase the lure size to X Rap 20s or 30s. A 30 will swim down to 16m if given enough line and weight.
