Californication and other TV series who use great old songs, show that the best music has already been made and comparing with most of the songs from this days, these are pure class.

@djclucindo and the californication people have an affinity for warren zevon I have heard about 4 or 5 zevon songs that never really got any airplay in their day.

Californication's producers (or whoever is) have this amazing ability to choose songs from the past century that most viewers have never heard in their lives but still sound fresh. That's what I feel, at least. I would never guess this song was from 1969 - not even an option if I had to guess!
